A special mention for Maisie

Phew – have I had a busy week! Buck was competing at Eden Valley in the BE100; he did a good test and a fab double clear. We went slowly XC as I was one of the last to go and couldn't really see in the low sun light!! He was a star!

The rest of the week was full of teaching, training and XC schooling. Maisie went to Foxberry Chasers to have a play around their fab XC course. Sparkle went for a play around Jamie Atkinsons XC jumps for a change of location!

Bob went out on Friday to compete in his first advanced test. He was brilliant – I just need to learn how to count in the Tempi changes! Despite this he still managed to score 65%!

Over the weekend Carrot, Sparkle, Maisie and Buck were all at Breckenbrough Horse Trials - it was a fab event, really well run and a lovely well built course. The star of the show was Buck again who jumped double clear with a good test. However, a special mention must go to Maisie who completed her first ever BE event - she did a nice test, clear sj (first time she has jumped on grass) and nearly clear XC – we had a minor wobble and step back at the second water but she far exceeded all of our expectations and I think will be a very smart horse for the future!

We also had a massive delivery of Dengie feed over the weekend...it should keep the horses in tip top form for a while!!
