LIVE Webinar – Forage Forum #2 Update!

Animalweb Forage Forum Returns: What Does This Summer Mean for Hay and Forage?

Following our popular Forage Forum earlier this year, Animalweb is bringing the experts back together for a live follow-up webinar this Thursday 24th September at 7pm.

After a summer of drought, extreme heat and severe weather across the UK, what has happened to our hay and forage supply – and what could it mean for horse owners heading into autumn and winter?

Dr David Marlin, Dr Katie Williams and Laura Hobbs will be joined by agronomist Andy Spackman to look at the impact of this summer’s conditions on forage availability, quality, nutritional value and cost, and discuss what horse owners need to be thinking about now.

The live session will provide an up-to-date, evidence-based look at the situation and practical guidance to help owners plan for the months ahead.

Speakers:

  • Dr David Marlin (Animalweb Host, Physiologist and Biochemist)
  • Dr Katie Williams (R. Nutr. Dengie Technical & Product Development Manager)
  • Laura Hobbs (Environmentalist and Sustainability Consultant specialising in equine land‑use systems)
  • Andy Spackman (Dengie Agronomist)
