One simple product will ensure that your horse benefits from a balanced diet.

Dengie’s team of qualified nutritionists have formulated and developed a range of nutritionally balanced fibre feeds which are often referred to as complete fibre feeds as traditional fibre feeds are straights. Each feed contains added vitamins and minerals, ensuring that your horse benefits from a balanced diet that is high in fibre. To learn more about feeding a balanced diet click here.

How does a balanced fibre feed support the daily diet of a horse?

When fed at the recommended feeding rate a balanced fibre feed supplies the essential vitamins and minerals required for horses working up to moderate levels. The Dengie Healthy range can be fed alongside forage as the sole bucket feed without relying on additional mixes or supplements. Alternatively it can be used to bulk out balancers, supplements, mixes and cubes to increase chew time.

Why might a single balanced feed be easier to feed than multiple additions?

Using one complete feed removes the need to mix several feeds or add extra supplements to achieve balance. This makes feeding your horse more convenient and helps ensure accuracy when supplying essential nutrients. It can also reduce the risk of uneven feeding or variation between meals, which is useful in yards where multiple people prepare feed. Please note that if you are using less than the recommended quantities of the complete feed, a broad spectrum vitamin and mineral supplement or balancer should be fed alongside.
