Sam & Florinsfirth in the Ribbons at the ROR Champs!

“It’s always a great atmosphere at the ROR Championships at Aintree – the team there knows how to put on a show!” explained Sam Smith who rode retrained racehorse, Florinsfirth, aka Barnaby, to victory in the Dengie sponsored Medium Restricted class.

Sam works as a McTimoney Animal Chiropractor, “Fitting in caring, training and competing the horses around work can be tricky but I make it happen and when you get to compete at Aintree it’s amazing!”

“I’ve always fed and trusted in Dengie’s Alfa-A Oil.  It’s an essential part of my horses’ diets and gives me peace of mind that they’re receiving the best fibre; the high oil content aids energy levels and their coats gleam.  It’s great to see them happy, healthy and performing with great results”, said Sam.

Sam and Barnaby backed up their Aintree win with a second place in the RoR Southern Regional Medium Open at Blenheim, securing their ticket for the ROR Championships in 2025.
