Keeping weight in check, whilst providing energy to fuel work

Banksy is an 18-year-old, 15.3hh Irish Sports Horse owned by YouTube Vlogger, Tina Wallace – Life on the Left Rein. Banksy weighs 562kg with a fat score of 3.5 and despite competing at BE90-100 he has always been a good doer.

Tina works hard to keep his weight in check, whilst maximising his forage intake to support digestive health including feeding fibre prior to travelling and exercise.

To help keep Banksy’s weight in check whilst providing slow-release energy to fuel his work to support his preparation for Badminton Grassroots Championships in May, Banksy is fed a combination of Dengie Ulser Lite and Alfa-Beet, alongside a broad-spectrum vitamin and mineral supplement, and an electrolyte supplement.

“I’ve trusted Dengie for years and their nutrition team have always been at the end of the phone when I’ve had any queries. Their range of products have helped to keep my horses looking and feeling their best.”
