A generous satisfying feed without excess calories

Amy Roberts has been feeding Dengie products for around 20 years and first connected with Claire Akers, Dengie Performance Horse Nutritionist via a training bursary programme in 2020, Amy has seen reached out to Claire multiple times for further invaluable advice.

“I explained to Claire that I felt Yogi needed a low calorie, sugar and starch feed plus I was also concerned about gastric health and ulcers” explains Amy. “Yogi is a good doer who gains weight easily, so Claire recommended Dengie Ulser Lite and it’s been perfect. It gives him a generous satisfying feed without excess calories, supports gastric health, he’s got plenty of energy for his eventing and training and a settled calm outlook when competing. Claire’s regular weigh-ins throughout the season have also helped us stay on top of his condition.”

“Yogi currently competes at Novice/1* level in eventing and BSJA Newcomers, with multiple top10 results including 10th at Belsay HT 1* on a double clear in 2025. We’re aiming for 2*/Intermediate in 2026. He absolutely loves his Dengie feeds and never leaves any behind.”
