Still a Star at 30-years-old!
Vicky Littlewood and 30-year-old Moss Town Marz (aka Marz) have shared 23 incredible years together. During that time, they have experienced just about every discipline the sport has to offer. From riding club teams, show jumping, eventing, and dressage, to showing—starting in small hunters and working hunters, and later progressing into senior showing—with many successes along the way. They have even enjoyed the occasional fun day out hunting with the bloodhounds.
“One of our proudest moments came in the summer of 2025, when we qualified for both the ‘SEIB Search for a Star’ and ‘Still a Star’ senior classes” says Vicky. “Winning both the in-hand and ridden sections earned us a place at the finals at Your Horse Live. It was truly a dream come true, made even more remarkable by the fact that Marz was the oldest senior competitor by nine years!”

“Marz health is important to me. When he suffered a bout of laminitis in 2024, it truly shook us both. Thankfully, with careful management and a lot of love, he recovered. He’s a good-doer, and now I always keep a close eye on his weight and diet, making sure he has the support he needs to stay fit, happy, and enjoying his ridden work. So when Marz suddenly began turning his nose up at his usual fibre feed, I was worried. I needed a low-calorie option that would still provide the fibre and nutritional support essential for his workload—without compromising his laminitis management.”
“My local feed store recommended Dengie Meadow Lite with Herbs, and honestly, it’s been a complete game-changer. From the very first feed, Marz was hooked—he now licks the bowl clean every single time! It’s such a relief to see him enjoying his feed again!”
“I’ve always trusted Dengie, and Meadow Lite with Herbs reinforces why: it’s been developed by expert nutritionists with horses like Marz in mind. It fits seamlessly into his diet, whether I’m adding it to his bucket feed or using it to top up his fibre when grazing is sparse.”
“After everything we’ve been through, it’s reassuring to see Marz fit, bright, and loving his food again – we’re both huge fans of Meadow Lite with Herbs—it’s an essential part of his care.”
