From the smallest to the largest, all our horses enjoy Dengie!

Simon Pearce has been training since 2019 having started out his racing career as an amateur jockey. All of the horses at Simon’s yard are fed on Dengie, from Fifi the Shetland, who has Hi-Fi Lite, to Kempton winner Abraaj, who is fed Performance Fibre.

“Dengie has a wide range of fibre feeds meaning there is something available to suit all types of horses” says Simon. “All of our racehorses are fed Dengie Performance Fibre as part of their ration every day, providing them with highly digestible fibre and good quality protein. Our little Shetland Fifi also enjoys a Dengie diet of Hi-Fi Lite which is much lower calorie while still providing plenty of fibre so is better suited to native ponies and good doers”.

“We feed the racehorses as much fibre as possible to help promote a healthy digestive system. As Dengie Performance Fibre is free from straw it provides a consistently clean and highly digestible source of fibre for the horses which they all thoroughly enjoy!”
