As a New Year begins, Alicia Wilkinson has a new team of horses to compete and bring on. Follow her adventures here.
Alicia Wilkinson and Googie have competed in their first event in Ireland with great success. Read Alicia's latest blog to find out how they got on.
Well the eventing season has begun! My first event with Googie is on the 23rd March at Tyrella, which will be my first experience of an Irish National event - wish us luck!
My final event of the year on Googie started fantastically with a super dressage test leaving us in 20th out of 90 in the CIC2* at Bicton.
Pooh has been on flying form as always! Our first event was rather unfortunate as Pooh was too bold jumping, however after a couple of training sessions we've had three fantastic runs!
The competition season is well underway and many of you will be out competing. We have been speaking to our ambassadors and asked them to share their top tips for course walking.
Well a lot has changed since my last blog. Pooh has had a well earned rest after her incredible season last year, but is now back in work and looking and feeling fabulous thank to her Dengie diet.
Well what can I say Pooh is perfect! She completed Blenheim CIC3*
Well it is the morning we leave for Blenheim CIC3* Pooh is feeling great and has been training really hard.
So I have now finished Uni!!! Yay, I got a 2:1 so I'm pretty happy! However, I am currently sitting on the sofa for the third day now as I had my tonsils removed.
It's my last year at Oxford Brookes University and I have been trying to finish the dreaded Dissertation! I have finished my first draft and now editing it. I have two weeks holiday over Easter then go back for two weeks then I am done…hooray!!!
I find January is always a miserable time of year with horses, because everything is wet and if its not wet it is either raining, snowing, freezing or really windy!
